Fake News Aired In India To Show PAK Helps Taliban To Win Panjshir

To back the claim that the Pakistan Air Force helped the Taliban to capture Panjshir Valley, some Indian mainstream News channels on September 6 allegedly used a clip from the video game ARMA 3. Reportedly, the clip, used by the channels such as Republic TV, Zee Hindustan, and TV9 Bharatvarsh, was first shared by Hasti TV, an Afghan TV channel. However, the clip was taken down later.

NRF Denies Taliban's Claims To Have Entered Panjshir Valley By Force

The National Resistance Force on August 28 denied the Taliban's claims to have entered the Panjshir valley from all directions. "There is no fight in Panjshir", Ahmad Almas, head of NRF said. "No fighting occurred, but the mujahideen of Afghanistan advanced from various directions without facing any resistance", a member of the Taliban had reported earlier. Currently, the NRF is headed by Ahmad Massoud and Amrullah Saleh.
