Passenger Vehicle Retails Sales Drop 11% In Dec Amid Semiconductor Issue
India's passenger car retail sales declined by 11% in December, as a shortage of semiconductors, said Federation of Automobiles Dealers Associations (FADA) on January 5. Retail sales of passenger vehicles declined in December 2021 by 10.91% to 2,44,639 units from 2,74,605 units in December 2020. Arrival Unveils 1st Prototype Of Electric Passenger Vehicle
Arrival, an electric vehicle company, unveiled its first prototype of a passenger vehicle amid the concern of air pollution in the world. The prototype shows a wide windshield, plenty of space for a driver, and large windows. The testing will be started from 2022 onwards, as per Zee News. Reportedly, Uber is also helping the company to develop an efficient EV with the support of its cab drivers.
