4000 Litres Adulterated Milk Seized From Truck In Gujarat’s Rajankot

In Gujarat’s Rajkot, around 4,000 litres of adulterated milk has been seized from a truck at a check-post. Reportedly, the adulterated milk was made using chemicals like Sulfates, phosphates and carbonate oils. According to the police, the adulterated milk is being supplied to the cities from the past four months. The police then stated that the suppliers and the factory have been identified.

Thick Layer of Toxic Foam Forms Over Yamuna In Delhi

Amid deteriorating air quality in New Delhi, Yamuna river has been covered by a thick layer of toxic foam. Experts believe the foam is due to the untreated discharge of phosphate-rich detergents used in dyeing industries, dhobi ghats and households. The detergents settle at riverbed during normal course, but when extra water is released, churning creates foam.
