TMC Ousts Dissenting MLA Baishali Dalmiya For Criticising Leadership
Trinamool Congress (TMC) on January 22 ousted MLA Baishali Dalmiya hours after she rebuked party's leadership over ex-Minister Rajib Banerjee's departure. Baishali was an MLA from the Bally region in Howrah district. As per reports, the dissenting MLA was expelled for indulging in anti-party activities. The TMC, through a statement, announced that its disciplinary committee met on January 22 and decided to remove Baishali.

Another Disgruntled TMC Leader Says "This Is The Era Of Sycophancy"
Saying that the TMC was giving importance only to "sycophants", West Bengal Forest Minister Rajib Banerjee on December 5 made scathing remarks against the party.
