Another Jolt To Mamata As State Forest Minister Quits
West Bengal Forest minister Rajib Banerjee, who had been missing cabinet meetings for a long time, submitted his resignation from Mamata Banerjee's cabinet on January 22. Rajib, who had previously complained about party functionaries, has expressed his regret in his resignation letter. He further added, "I heartily convey my gratitude for getting this opportunity." TMC leader Sougata Roy maintained that the party was expecting his resignation.
