Former South African Umpire Rudi Koertzen Dies In Car Crash
Former South African international umpire Rudi Koertzen died in a tragic accident, confirmed his son Koertzen Jr. On August 9, Koertzen went for a golf tournament with his friends, when their car crashed near a town called Riversdale. Rudi Koertzen is survived by his wife and four children. Furthermore, he started in early 1990s-2010, and umpired 397 games, including 128 Test matches, 250 ODIs, and 19 T20-Internationals.
