Rupee Gains By 12 Paise, Stands At 98.74 Against US Dollars
In early trades, the rupee appreciated by 12 paise to Rs 98.74, against US Dollar, on August 2. As per interbank foreign exchange, the rupee plunged and recorded a good start, whereas dollar index, which gauges the greenback's strength fell 0.22 per cent to 105.21. Furthermore, 30-share Sensex was trading 88.55 points at 58,026.95, while NSE Nifty fell 35.65 points to 17,304.40. Crude oil prices also softened on August 2.

Rupee Gains By 6 Paise, Stands At 79.81 Against US Dollars, In Early Trades
After reporting fall in days, the rupee appreciated 9 paise to 79.81 against the US dollar in early trade. On July 25, the ruppee saw a rise and opened at 79.86 against the American dollar. Furthermore, it was also supported by the fall of crude oil prices, on July 25. In addition, Sensex was trading 95.33 points or 0.17% at 55,976.90, while the broader NSE Nifty declined 31.80-points to 16,687.65.

P Chidambaram Criticises PM Modi Govt For Unemployment, Rupee Fall & LPG Price Hike
Former finance minister P Chidambaram took a dig at PM Narendra Modi-led Central Government, for the handling of a host of issues including the falling rupee, employment generation and LPG price rise. In an interview, Chidambaram said the depreciating rupee was attributed to falling in exports, high inflation rate and outflow of foreign portfolio investments. He added, how one million jobs drive, as a reason for unemployment in India.

Indian Rupee Hit All Time Low, Settles At 78.68 Against USD
The Indian currency decreased hitting a low record at 78.68 against the US dollar in an opening trade, on June 28. At the interbank foreign exchange, the rupee opened at 78.50 against the US dollar, then inched to quote 78.68, registering a slip of 22 paise. Furthermore, sensex was trading 314.88 points or 0.59% higher at 52,846.40 and the NSE Nifty advanced 101.75 points to 15,730.30.

Indian Rupee Records 15 Paise High At 78.07 Against US Dollar
In the opening trade the rupee strengthened by 15 paise, with a rise to 78.07 against the US dollar on June 16. The rupee witnesses rise by 15 paise, after the US Federal Reserve hiked interest rate by 75 basis points and signalled more rate action. With this, at the interbank foreign exchange, the rupee opened strong at 78.06 against the US dollar, and moving high in early trades.

Indian Rupee Hits Low Of 77.81 Against Dollars
The Indian rupee hit a new record with a low of Rs 77.81 against the US dollar, on June 9. At the interbank foreign exchange market, the rupee slumped to a 13 paise low. The developments came after the rupee against dollars increased by 10 paise, on June 8. Furthermore, the fall in the rupee against the dollar came at a time when crude oil prices, RBI policies are concerns.

Rupee Gains 18 Paise To Settle At 77.52 Per Dollar
In early trade on May 24, the rupee began flat versus the US dollar, pressured down by continued foreign money outflows and rising crude oil prices. The rupee opened at 77.56 relative to the dollar on the interbank foreign exchange market. The Rupee gained 18 paise versus the US dollar on May 23, closing at 77.52. On May 24, the share market started in green.

Indian Rupee Falls To A New Low Of 77.76 Versus US Dollar
The Indian rupee fell to a new record low of 77.76 versus the US dollar on May 19, owing to a stock market collapse. For the seventh time in the previous ten days, the Indian rupee has reached new lows. The rupee finished at 77.72 on the interbank foreign exchange market, down 10 paise from the previous day's closing.

Gold Prices Drop By Rs 134, Silver By Rs 169: HDFC Securities
Gold prices in Delhi stands at Rs 50,601 per 10 gram, which is Rs 134 lower than the previously recorded price, on May 4, reported HDFC Securities. Furthermore, silver now costs Rs 62,787 per kg, which is Rs 169 lower than the previously recorded price. Also, a surprise rate hike by RBI, has resulted in the appreciation of Rupee by 8 paise, to settle at Rs 76.40 against US dollar.

Gold Prices Increase By Rs 271, Silver Gains Rs 818
Gold prices have increased by Rs 271, and currently stands at Rs 51,670 per 10 grams, as of March 3, according to HDFC securities. Meanwhile, silver gained Rs 818, and currently stands at Rs 68,425 per Kg. Reportedly in the previous trade, gold finished at Rs 51,399 per 10 grams and silver at Rs 67,607 per Kg. Amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, Rupee declined by 15 paise against US dollar.
