Facebook Suspends Several Pakistan-Based Hacker Accounts In Q-22

Meta-owned Facebook suspended several accounts, which were being operated by APT36, a Pakistan-backed hacker group. On August 8, in the second quarter of 2022, the company clarified that the suspended accounts were targeting Indians through bogus accounts, harassing them on religion and gender grounds. The data was confirmed by Facebook, which released its Quarterly Adversarial Report earlier this week, featuring India prominently in it.
