Netizens Slam Tanishq In Their Latest Diwali Ad Campaign, Tanishq Deletes It Later
Jewellery brand Tanishq’s new advertisement aiming to discourage people from burning crackers created a new trouble for the brand. Netizens flocked Twitter, raising questions, saying the brand should not preach Hindus as how to celebrate Diwali. A BJP National Secretary C.T. Ravi also slammed the company for promoting a westernized Diwali with no Hindu symbols. Eventually, they had to remove the video.
