ED Seizes Rs 5,551.27 Crore From Xiaomi India
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on September 30, seized Rs 5,551.27 crore from Xiaomi Technology India Pvt Ltd, confirmed authority appointed under Section 37A of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). This is considered as the highest amount of seizure by the authority till date. The authority stated that the amount gets transferred out of India by Xiaomi in an unauthorised manner.

Xiaomi Launches 6,000mAh-Battery Phone Redmi 9 Power In India
Chinese mobile-giant Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 9 Power in India on December 17. Powered with 6,000mAh battery and 128GB storage, the mobile comes in the black, blue, red, and green variants. The 6.53-inch full HD+ display phone is also equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 processor and has a 48-megapixel camera. Starting at Rs 10,999, Xiaomi will begin sale from December 22 via Amazon India and its official website.

Xiaomi Smartphones Worth Rs 2 Crore Ransacked from Lorry
Xiaomi Smartphones were looted from a lorry in Chittoor, near the Tamil Nadu - Andhra Pradesh border on August 25. The lorry was carrying the phones to Mumbai before the driver was assaulted and taken to an isolated place where the theft happened. Redmi Launches Note 9 Pro in India; Specs, Price
Redmi Note 9 Pro is set to go on sale in India from August 18 at 12 pm. Note 9 Pro can be purchased through Amazon and Mi's official website. The device offers two colour options; Interstellar Black and Aurora Blue. The 4GB + 64GB variant is priced at Rs 13,999 and the 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 16,999.
