Police Baton-Charge Women Protesting Against Excessive Gas & Electricity Load Shedding: Pakistan
In Pakistan’s Kybher Pakhtunkhwa province, police baton-charged women who were protesting against the excessive gas and electricity load shedding. The incident occurred in Charsadda town, where the protestors blocked roads, to express agitation. The protesters also burnt tyres. Reportedly, the protests were held in different areas including Mirzagan, Bhoosakhel and Azizkhel. The protestors stated that essential items have become more expensive in the country.
