Bihar Polls: Phase One Records 54.3% Voter Turnout
Recording a voter turnout of 54.3%, the Bihar Assembly elections' phase-1 completed on October 28 without any major problems. The experts opined that the rural mass have voted more enthusiastically than the urban population. The Election Commission also thanked people for voting even amid the virus threat. Reportedly, the voting percentage is higher than that of 2019 Lok Sabha elections, and Banka constituency recorded highest voter turnout of 59.6%.
