NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede on October 25 retaliated in a press note after the Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik shared Wankhede's personnel documents commending him as a fraud. The officer, who was involved in the raid on the cruise ship, stated, "Publishing of my personal documents on Twitter is a defamatory and unnecessary invasion to my family". ''My father is a Hindu...My mother was a Muslim,'' added Wankhede.

NCB Questions Ananya Panday For The Second Day: Drug Case
Ananya Panday has been summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau for the second day in a row on October 22. Reportedly, WhatsApp chats between Aryan Khan and Panday have shown a connection between the two. However, the case is still underway with the arrest of 20 people, along with Aryan Khan. Further, a 24-year-old drug peddler was also questioned on October 22.

However, the actress along with her father reaches the NCB office an hour late. Reportedly, her mobile, and laptop have been seized by the agency, and will be questioned if she knows Aryan Khan consumed drugs, or if she has partnered along with the star-boy.

Ananya Panday Summoned By Narcotics Control Bureau
Bollywood actress, Ananya Panday has been summoned by the NCB on October 21 for questioning under the Aryan Khan's drug case. Reportedly, Khan and Ananya Panday are said to be good friends. "The investigation is going on. When NCB officials visit a person or location for questioning that does not mean the person is a culprit or being investigated. There are several procedures being followed," said an NCB officer.

CM Thackeray Breaks Silence, Says NCB Targetting Celebs For Publicity: Drugs Case
Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray on October 16 broke his silence and accused Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) of ‘deliberately’ targeting the celebrities for publicity. He said that there was an effort to create an impression that Mumbai has become a narcotics hub. “They catch a celebrity, click pictures and make noise around it. Our police only work while news is about whether someone got bail or not,” CM Thackeray said.

Aryan Khan To Stay In Jail Till October 20, Court Reserves Order
Aryan Khan will remain in jail for almost a week as the special NDPS Court has reserved its order for October 20 after hearing both NCB and applicant Aryan Khan. The hearing of the bail plea was held on October 14 and NCB counsel Anil Singh said Aryan is a regular consumer of drugs. ''Innocent until proven guilty doesn't apply in the case of NDPS offences,'' Singh added.

Shah Rukh Khan has hired a new lawyer, Amit Desai, to represent son Aryan Khan in the Mumbai cruise drugs case. Aryan's bail plea hearing will take place on, October 13. Advocate Amit Desai, who got Salman AKhan acquitted in the 2002 hit-and-run case has been hired by Shah Rukh Khan to represent son Aryan. On October 11, Amit represented Aryan Khan in court.

Complaint Filed Against Mehbooba Mufti Over Remarks On Drugs Case
Delhi-based lawyer has filed a complaint before the Delhi police. He demanded that an FIR should be lodged against former J&K CM Mehbooba Mufti for her reaction to the ongoing drug case involving Shah Rukh Khan’s son. According to her, instead of making an example out of the Union Minister’s son accused of killing four farmers, central agencies are after a 23-year-old simply because his surname happens to be Khan.

NCB Seeks Time; Hearing Of Aryan Khan Bail Application Shifted
The special court designated under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has said it'll hear the bail application of Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, on October 13. Aryan's and four others' bail applications were scheduled to be heard on October 11 but the NCB sought more time to reply to the applications. Notably, the magistrate's court also rejected the application on October 8.

Mumbai Court Refuses Aryan Khan's Bail In Drug Seizure Case
Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha were denied bail on October 8 by Esplanade court in Mumbai. The lawsuit revolves around the seizure of drugs after a raid on a cruise ship party off the coast in Mumbai. Aryan has been detained at Mumbai's Arthur Road jail's quarantine cell. As per reports, Aryan will go to the Mumbai session court to file a bail petition.
