Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel traveled to Navsari's flood-affected villages and met with the victims on July 12. Severe rains in Gujarat's Rajkot region led to a flood-like event that claimed one life on July 12. The authorities have urged those who live in the lower regions to maintain their alertness. The state will experience mild to moderate rainfall over the next four days, according to the meteorological department.

Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel Conducts Aerial Survey Of Flood-Like Situation In Rain Affected Areas
Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel conducted an aerial survey of the areas affected by heavy rains, which resulted in a flood-like situation. During the survey, the CM took notice of the situation, and issued directions to the state authorities. A red alert has been issued in Rajkot, Jamnagar and Kutch. The Western Railway department reported that at least 10 trains were cancelled on July 12.

ArcelorMittal To Invest Rs 1.7 lakh Crore In Various Projects Across Gujarat
ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India, signed an MoU with Gujarat's industries department, worth Rs 1.7 lakh crore at Gandhinagar, on January 27. It includes the investment of Rs 40,000 crore in renewable energy, Rs 30,000 crore in the development of a ‘steel city’, and an industrial cluster in Surat. In addition, A total of 10GW of renewable power generation plants will be set up at various locations.

Gujarat Govt To Be 'Remote Controlled' By Anandiben Patel: Congress
Following Bhupendra Patel replacing the incumbent CM of Gujarat Vijay Rupani, Congress attacked BJP that government will now be remote-controlled by the 2016 CM of Gujarat, Anandiben Patel.
