Box office revenue for Thor Love and Thunder The fourth film starring Chris Hemsworth received positive reviews and had a thrilling Indian premiere. The movie had a decline in revenue of 39% nonetheless, and on July 8 it made Rs 11.50 crores. On July 7, the movie managed to generate Rs 18.60 crores, making it a good opening week at the box office.

Chris Hemsworth is back with "Extraction 2" which will be streaming soon, confirmed by Netflix on September 26. The wait is finally over for fans as the teaser of "Extraction 2" has been released on Netflix in which Chris has played the character of Tyler who has been thrown off the bridge by bullets. Chris Hemsworth has confirmed that the shooting of his movie 'Thor: Love and Thunder' is set to start from January 2021. The shoot had come to a standstill owing to the pandemic. The actor also opined that people were expecting a "dramatic change" in the movie and added that Natalie Portman and Tessa Thompson are a part of the cast. Reportedly, the movie is scheduled for a February, 2022 release.

Chris Hemsworth, Miles Teller, and Jurnee Smollett will be starring in an upcoming Netflix movie 'Spiderhead'. The movie is adapted from the short story written by George Saunders and will be directed by Joseph Kosinski. Reportedly, the script has been penned by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Saunders' story revolves around two prisoners who volunteer as medical subjects to get their sentence shortened.
