Donald Trump Lauds Nigerian President Buhari For Banning Twitter

Former US President Donald Trump praised the Nigerian government's decision to ban Twitter after the service deleted their President Muhammadu Buhari's tweet due to breach of rules. Praising Buhari, Trump criticized Facebook and Twitter asking who they are to judge good and evil if they themselves are evil. He further urged other countries to ban the platforms as well. Notably, Trump was banned from both platforms after the Capitol Riots.

Donald Trump's Facebook Account Blocked For 2 Years

Social media giant Facebook has barred former US President Donald Trump from availing its services for two years, until January 2023. Suspending the account, the company stated, "His actions constituted a severe violation of our rules which merit the highest penalty." The suspension was first imposed on January 6, 2021 after Trump was accused of inciting violence at the US Capitol through his posts.

Himachal: Forged E-passes In Name Of Trump, Amitabh Bachchan Seized

The Himachal Pradesh Police have registered an FIR in a forgery case where two e-passes were issued in the name of former US President Donald Trump and superstar Amitabh Bachchan. The police on May 7 said both passes recovered, HP2563825 and HP2563287, were linked to same Aadhaar and mobile number. The Himachal government had made e-passes mandatory from April 27 for those entering the state for contact-tracing and quarantine purposes.

Trump's Facebook Suspension Continues; Ex-Prez Calls It "Total Disgrace"

Former US President Donald Trump's Facebook ban, which came into effect following Capitol riots, has been granted continuation by the company's oversight board on May 5. However, the board also said suspension of Trump without clear time-frame was wrong and has given six months time to Facebook to decide on Trump's return. Meanwhile, Trump reacted to his ban, calling it "a total disgrace" and warning companies of paying "political price".

Ex-US President Donald Trump Launches Personal Social Media Platform

Former US President Donald Trump has announced to launch his own social media space on his website, months after being banned from several platforms. Contents of the new space named "From The Desk Of Donald J. Trump" will not feature his previous Twitter and Facebook posts but can be shared on both the platforms. Twitter has stated that it would allow sharing of Trump's thoughts given they are not provocative.

POTUS Biden In No Plans Of Extending H-1B Visa Ban
