Former Cricketer Praveen Kumar Escapes Horrific Accident
Former Indian fast bowler Praveen Kumar and his son recently experienced a car accident in Meerut. Fortunately, both of them are reported to be safe and unharmed. The incident took place on Tuesday night while Praveen was returning from Pandav Nagar. Their Land Rover Defender was struck by a truck travelling at high speed around 10 pm, resulting in significant damage to the car.

Irfan Pathan Criticises BCCI's Rest Policy, Says Playing More Cricket Will Help To Be In Form
Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan criticised the new BCCI policy of giving some rest to cricketers, after every series. On July 6, Pathan said, "No one comes back to form while resting.." Notably, under the new players, many efficient players like captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, and Mohammed Shami as well as the injured KL Rahul are on rest mode, before the ODI series.

Former Cricketer Virendra Sehwag's Sister Anju Sehwag Joins AAP: Delhi
Former Cricketer Virendra Sehwag's sister Anju Sehwag joined the Aam Aadmi Party, on December 31. She joined the party in presence of the AAP leaders in Delhi, after being inspired by the development works of Arvind Kejriwal. Before joining the AAP, Anju was a professional teacher and councillor of the Congress. She even contested as Councillor on Congress ticket from Dakshinipur extension in 2012.
