Former BCCI President Sourav Ganguly predicted the result of the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy, in matches between India V/S Australia. On February 25, Ganguly said, "I see 4-0. It will be hard for Australia to beat India. In these conditions, we are a far superior team." Notably, India is leading in the Test Match, with 2-0, and is expected to maintain the same, winning the trophy for India.

BCCI Reduces Ban Of RR PLayer Ajit Chandila To 7 Years
The BCCI Ombudsman Vineet Saran has reduced former Rajasthan Royal player Ajit Chandila's life ban. On February 21, Saran announced a reduction of a ban to 7 years, for his involvement in the IPL 2013 spot-fixing scandal. The three cricketers involved in that ‘spot-fixing’ scam – S Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and Chandila were given a life ban. However, the bans of Sreesanth and Chavan were overturned two years back.

BCCI Likely To Announce Kit Deal With German Sports Apparel Adidas
The BCCI is all set to sign a deal with German sports apparel giant Adidas for the next shirt sponsorship of Indian Cricket. On February 21, the sources close to the deal said the signed deal will be officially in effect from June until March 2028. The decision to sign a deal with Adidas was taken with the aim of attracting major sports apparel to sponsor the Indian team.

India-Australia Test Match Shifted To Indore From Dharamsala
BCCI confirmed the shift of the venue for the 3rd Test Match, between Australia-India. On February 13, the BCCI said, the final test match between India-Australia will now be held in Indore, instead of Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh. The third game of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy is now going to be held in the Holkar Stadium in Indore between March 1-5. The decision was taken amid poor outfield conditions in Dharamsala.

Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer is likely to miss the first one-day international (ODI) against Australia for the Border Gavaskar Trophy match, due to his back injury. India To Play Asia Cup 2023 In Pakistan, Says BCCI Source

Women's IPL To Have 5 Teams In 2023 Game: Says Report
With the inaugural edition of the Women’s Indian Premier League (IPL), the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is considering having five teams as well as permitting five overseas players in a playing XI. A Cricbuzz source confirmed, apart from these two, the tentative window for Women’s IPL is March 2023, scheduled after the Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 in South Africa, which is from February 10-26.
