Petrol, Diesel Price Hiked For 15th Time In June

The prices for fuel have again been increased for the 15th time this month on June 27. In Delhi, petrol price rised by 35 paise to Rs 98.46 per litre and diesel increased by 25 paise to Rs 88.90 per litre. Whereas in Mumbai, the Petrol and diesel climbed from Rs 104.22 to 104.56 and 96.16 to 96.42 per litre, respectively. The highest selling price is in Mumbai among metros.

K'taka Cong To Begin "100 Not Out Campaign" Against Rising Fuel Prices

To protest against the increased prices of petrol across the country, the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee has decided to launch a "100 not out campaign" on June 11. State party chief DK Shivakumar stated, "KPCC will hold protests at 5,000 major petrol pumps", adhering to the COVID-19 appropriate behaviour. Moreover, the five-day protest will be supervised by the party leaders virtually through Zoom calls.

Petrol Crosses Rs 100 Mark In Maharashtra; Diesel Up By 33 Paise

Following Rajasthan and MP, petrol on May 10 reached Rs 100.20/litre in Maharashtra's Parbhani as the prices increased for the fifth time within a week since May. Crossing the century mark second time in 2021, the overall petrol and diesel price has increased by Rs 1.14 and Rs 1.33/litre since May 4. On May 10, the increase was recorded as 26-paise for petrol and 33-paise for diesel.

Karnataka: Cab Drivers To Protest In Front Of Yeddiyurappa's House

The cab drivers association will gherao Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa's residence on March 31 demanding justice for a driver who suicided.
