Google on April 22 dedicated an animated Doodle to mark the Earth Day celebration. Featuring a big tree and small plants, the Doodle highlights the importance of tree plantation for a brighter future with motto "one sapling at a time". The doodle explains how one can plant a sapling easily at her/his home during this time of the lockdown. Earth Day 2021 will be celebrated with theme "Restore Our Earth".

On the 89th birth anniversary of Indian professor and space scientist Udupi Ramchandra Rao, Google has dedicated a doodle to him. The doodle features Rao's sketch with a globe and shooting stars.
