Millionaire's Wife Elopes With Auto Driver & Rs 47 Lakh In MP's Indore

In a bizarre incident, a millionaire's wife eloped with an auto-rickshaw driver with cash of Rs 47 lakh in Madhya Pradesh's Indore. Reportedly, the driver Imran is 13 years younger than the woman whom he used to drop at her house. Her husband lodged the complaint with the police. Police have recovered 33 lakh cash from the house of Imran's friend. However, the police are yet to apprehend them.

Drunk Men Kill Shopowner For Refusing Free Cigarettes: MP

In a shocking manner, a shopowner, Pintu Debey scummed to his injuries at a hospital following the attack by two drunk men over Rs 70 in MP's Indore on September 5. Reportedly, the duo attacked the shopkeeper with a rod and also stabbed him because he refused them free cigarettes. ''We've taken one of them into custody and search is on for the other,'' said City SP Jayant Rathore.

Indore Declared As India's First 'Water Plus' City

Deemed as the cleanest city in India, Madhya Pradesh's Indore now gets the "water plus" tag under the Swachh Survekshan 2021 on August 11. As a part of the Swachh Bharat Mission, the Survekshan survey ensures wastewater should be significantly treated before reusing. Commenting on the tag, Indore Municipal Commissioner Pratibha Pal said that, "30% of the city's sewage water was recycled and reused for several purposes."

Airplane With Remdesivir Injections Crashes At Gwalior Airport

Madhya Pradesh aviation department's airplane, carrying Remdesivir injection from Indore, crash landed at Gwalior airport on May 6, injuring three people including the pilots. Reliance Extends Help To Indore, To Provide 100 Tonnes Oxygen Daily

Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Industries on April 17 extended its help to Madhya Pradesh's worst-hit city Indore by providing 60 tonnes of medical oxygen. The company sent the oxygen tankers from its Gujarat's Jamnagar plant, and has assured of supplying 100 tonnes of oxygen to Indore every day. Thanking RIL, BJP Indore chief Tulsi Silavat stated it "will be extremely useful for the city." Earlier, Reliance had sent oxygen to Maharashtra.

An auto-rickshaw driver, Krishna Keyer (35) was subjected to police brutality in broad daylight after his mask slipped off his nose in MP’s Indore district. Reportedly, he was going towards hospital to meet his sick father while the police asked him to appear at the police station. After Keyer refused, the officer started beating him mercilessly. However, the officers were suspended after the video of the incident went viral.
