4 IPS Officers Transferred in Uttar Pradesh
UP government on August 29 performed an administrative surgery and transferred four IPS officers. According to a home department spokesperson, among transferee are ADG of PAC Central command, Lucknow Ramkumar; Azamgarh ASP Elamaran G; Bulandshahar ASP Gopal Krishna Chaudhary and ASP Varanasi Mohammad Mushtaq. Former IPS Officer Annamalai Kuppuswamy Joins BJP in Tamil Nadu
Ahead of Tamil Nadu assembly elections, former IPS officer, Annamalai Kuppusamy, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on August 25. Popularly known as 'Singham of Karnataka', he says, “I will work towards clearing the misconception around BJP in TN.” Kuppusamy had resigned from the police service in 2019. According to BJP sources, position in the party will be used to reinforce the youth wing in the southern states.
