I Backed Umran Since He Has Pace, Reveals Hardik Pandya
In the Ireland series, Indian team captain Hardik Pandya said, Express Pace was the only reason for allowing Umran Malik to bowl the final over of T20 International, in the June 29 match. "I backed Umran since he has pace. With his pace, it's difficult for people to hit", said Pandya. Notably, Umran Malik who bowled for Ireland in the last over (6 balls) defended 17 runs, with only 266 runs.

BCCI Announces 3-Days Short Break To Indian Squad Ahead Of Ireland Match
In order to provide rest to the Indian squad ahead of the Ireland-India series, the BCCI announced a three-day break before it leaves for the two-match series in Malahide. On June 20, the BCCI said, "All the players selected for the Ireland T20s are going home for a three-day break." Notably, after the break, the Hardik Pandya-led Indian squad will assemble in Mumbai on June 23.
