Shocking! Thief Returns Stolen Ornaments After 9 Years

In a bizzare incident, a thief, who had stolen Lord Krishna’s ornaments from the Gopinath Temple in Odisha’s Gopinathpur, returned them. As per sources, the thief returned the stolen ornaments after nine years with a note saying he had been getting nightmares ever since the theft. Furthermore, the thief not only returned stolen cap, earrings, bracelet and a flute of Krishna and Radha, but paid a fine of Rs 300.

Water Level Rises in Krishna and Godavari Rivers; People Living Downstream Alerted

The water level at Prakasam Barrage kept constantly rising and resulted in the officials alerting the people living in the downstream. Reportedly, the water level at the barrage had increased by 1,13,200 cusecs. The Godavari flood level which had crossed 55.30 feet on August 21, has receded to 52.30 feet on August 22. However, the water level at Koida, Polavaram and other places has been increasing.
