20 Healthcare Workers Of LNJP Hospital Test COVID-19 Positive
At least 20 healthcare workers of Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) government hospital, Delhi tested COVID-19 positive, on January 6. The Medical Director of LNJP Dr. Suresh Kumar said that 20 patients include 11 doctors, eight nurses, and one sanitation worker. He expressed concern and said, "If our workforce gets affected then it may affect our fight against COVID-19". Notably, the hospital hired 25% additional staff for COVID-19 patients.

15 Suspected Omicron Patients Admitted To LNJP Hospital: Delhi
About 15 suspected patients of Omicron who flew into the national capital from "at risk" countries are now admitted to Delhi's LNJP Hospital. Out of these, nine are confirmed Covid-19 patients, while six have mild symptoms. The samples have been sent for genome sequencing and the report will take four-five days. Medical Director of LNJP Hospital, Dr. Suresh Kumar said, "the three new patients are from the UK".

Doctor Says White Fungus Less Dangerous Than Black Fungus
Amid rising fear over black and white fungus, MD of Delhi's LNJP Hospital Dr Suresh Kumar has said that the latter disease, aka Aspergillosis, is less dangerous than the former. He stated early diagnosis of the disease is critical and advised to stay in clean surroundings and avoid eating refrigerated food. Besides, he advised consuming fresh fruits and vegetables and not taking steroids without prescription for treating COVID-19.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, His Parents Receive COVID-19 Vaccine Shot
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on March 4 received his first shot of COVID-19 vaccine. Kejriwal's parents - Govind Ram Kejriwal and Gita Devi - were also inoculated along with him. After taking the jab, Kejriwal said, "We don't have any problems (after vaccination)." Urging everyone to take the vaccine, the Delhi CM has assured to increase the vaccination centres in the state "if needed". He was administered indigenously developed 'Covishield'.
