BAFTA Awards 2022 Makes History, 'The Power Of The Dog' Wins Best Director Movie

This year's BAFTA  Awards made history with Jane Campion winning the best director for 'The Power Of The Dog'. She became the third woman to win best director. The award show was held in London's Royal Albert Hall, hosted by Australian actor-comedian Rebel Wilson. The British awards are usually held in the same week as the Oscars, yet this year's Oscars will be held on March 27.

On February 19, Captain Khalifa Al-Thani, who was flying from Qatar landed the plane at Heathrow Airport in London. Reportedly, the video was shared by Big Jet TVs, where Captain Al-Thani was witnessed being calm until the plane landed safely. However, everyone praised the pilot.

Delhi To London Bus Service, Covering 18 Countries To Begin Soon

India is all set to provide the longest bus service from Delhi to London. The services are likely to begin from September. The trip will cost 15 lakh, covering 20,000 km, in 70 days via 18 countries and will have 20 seats. "It will include all the services: tickets, visas, and lodging in various countries," the official added. Notably, from Kolkata to London first bus service was introduced in 1957.

A 1000-year-old pub named Ye Olde Fighting Cocks in St. Albans is looking for a new owner. The pub is located in the suburbs of London, has been in business since 793 AD. Taking to Facebook the owner Christo Tofalli announced the news. "We have had contact from interested parties," said Christo. The pub has survived world wars and the 1918 pandemic but couldn't able to survive the Covid-19 pandemic.
