A fire broke out in a storeroom adjacent to the operation theatre in AIIMS, on June 28. The fire was brought under control very quickly and no casualties were reported. Subsequently, seven fire tenders were dispatched. Reportedly, the Hauz Khas Police received a PCR call at 5:15 am. No casualties or injuries have been reported and the area has been reopened, said the police.
