Zee5 To Premiere Marathi Blockbuster Dharamveer Soon

OTT platform ZEE5 is set to premiere another Marathi movie Dharamveer"  on June 17.  The movie is a Marathi Blockbuster.  Written and directed by Pravin Tarde, the film will see Prasad Oak in a lead role and Kshitish Date, Makarand Paddhye, Snehal Tarde and Shruti Marathe in the prominent roles. Web Series 'Grahan' Faces Backlash From Sikh Community

The Sikh community has been outraged by the web series "Grahan" which is set to launch on June 24 in Disney+Hotstar. The president of the SGPC community, considered as the top body amongst the Sikh community, has called for a ban on the series which is based on the anti-Sikh riots of 1984. According to the president, the reason for the ban is the objectionable portrayal of a Sikh character.

'Lionsgate Play' Predicts India Among Its Top 5 Markets By 2025

Streaming service Lionsgate Play’s Managing Director Rohit Jain has stated that India will be among top five market for the OTT platform by 2025. Jain said, "2020-25 belongs to OTT and we really are at the beginning of the five-year expansion phase.” Officially launched in India in December 2020, the platform promises uber-urban and edgy content for youth and mature adults and it also aims to localize content in several Indian languages.
