The Union Ministry of Home Affairs on May 28 commenced the application-collecting process from non-Muslim minorities residing in Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan for the Indian citizenship. Canada Suspends Flights From India, Pakistan Amid Rising COVID Cases
Canada's Transport Minister Omar Alghabra has announced to dismiss all flights from India and Pakistan for 30 days, citing massive rise in COVID-19 cases. The minister said, "This is a temporary measure, while we assess and evolve situation and determine appropriate measures going forward." The decision will reportedly be effective from April 23. Notably, India recorded over 3 lakh new COVID-19 cases on April 22.

Pakistani Pacer Amir Calls Retirement; Accuses Management Of Torture
Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir has announced retirement from international cricket after alleging that he was 'mentally tortured' by team management.
