Shiv Sena Slams BJP's Decision To Rename Khel Ratna Award
Shiv Sena slammed the BJP government's decision to rename the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award to Major Dhyan Chand. Reportedly, the reason for "public sentiment" as being the actual cause of change is still uncertain. Furthermore, the BJP was accused of indulging in political games with "revenge and malice". "Dhyan Chand could have been honored without insulting the sacrifice of Rajiv Gandhi", claimed Shiv Sena.
