Virbhadra Singh, the 87-year-old Congress leader and six-time former CM of Himachal Pradesh died due to cardiac arrest on July 7 at Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla. Reportedly, he had been receiving treatment since April 13 and was put on ventilator support after he suffered a heart attack on July 5. Meanwhile, he contracted the coronavirus twice on April 13 and June 11. Besides, he is survived by his politician wife and son.
