A vegan influencer Zhanna Samsonova (39) has reportedly “died of starvation” after subsisting exclusively off a diet of exotic fruit in Malaysia, according to her friends and family. he Russian national — who frequently promoted raw foods on social media where she was known to her millions of viewers on social media platforms as Zhanna D'Art, reportedly died July 21 after seeking medical treatment during a tour in Southeast Asia.

We Can 'Starve', Our Children Cannot: Afghan Parents On Starvation

The situation in Afghanistan is getting worse after the US forces left the country as people are now heading towards starvation. Describing her ordeal a 35-year-old native Zarghuna said, ''We just have dinner in the evening sometimes. We don't even have that and we go to sleep without eating anything.'' She further stated that she and her husband can face it but her kids cry when they don't get food.

45M People Are On The Brink Of Starvation, Says UN Food Agency

The United Nations food agency, the World Food Programme (WEP), on November 8 said the number of people who are heading toward the brink of starvation has risen to 45 million across 43 countries in the world. ''We've got conflict, climate change, and COVID-19 driving up the numbers of the acutely hungry,'' said David Beasley, WEP Executive Director. Reportedly, $7 billion are needed to avert the global famine.
