India Abstained From Voting In UN General Assembly Regarding Ukraine Peace Resolution
India abstained from voting on a resolution put forward by Ukraine and its supporters in the United Nations General Assembly. On February 24, the resolution, titled ‘Principles of the Charter of the UN for lasting peace in Ukraine,' was adopted by a vote of 141 in favor and 7 against, with 32 abstentions. Meanwhile, speaking of India's stand, EAM S Jaishankar said, India just want peace for the world.

Serum Institute of India's CEO Adar Poonawalla praised PM Narendra Modi's speech at UNGA, and thanked him for his leadership and support.
