Former AAP Leader Kumar Vishwas' Security Upgraded To 'Y+' Category

Following recent threat assessment, centre has upgraded former AAP Kumar Vishwas' security from "Y category" to "Y+ category". Security was first provided to him in February, after he accused AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal or having links with separatist outfits. Kejriwal replied to the allegations, stating that they made him "laugh". As a befitting reply, Kejriwal also said that 12,430 modern classrooms in Delhi will be inaugurated.

3 Judges Who Passed Karnataka Hijab Row Verdict Gets Y-Category Security

The Karnataka government announced to grant 'Y' category security to all the three judges who pronounced the verdict on 'Udupi Hijab Row'. Notably, the move came soon after a statement was made in Madurai, intimidating to kill the judges. It is to be noted, three judges Jamath functionaries in Tamil Nadu were charged for making disrespectful remarks against the Karnataka High Court on their verdict about the Hijab controversy.

Government Grants 'Y' Category Security To Kumar Vishwas

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has granted 'Y' category security to former AAP leader Kumar Vishwas. In addition, This came just days after Vishwas accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of having links with separatists in Punjab. The security will cover 7 personnel, 3 personal security officers (PSOs), a commanding officer, and three static guards.
