China Launches 3 Astronauts To Its New Space Station
China successfully launched its space station on June 17 from the Jiuquan launch centre in the northwest of the Gobi desert. Zhang Zhen, director of the Jiuquan satellite launch centre said, "The Long March-2F rocket has sent the Shenzhou-12 manned spacecraft". Carrying three astronauts, the Shenzhou-12 will get attached to the main section of the space station. Acknowledging the crowd of supporters, the astronauts sung the patriotic song of China.
