Rafale Case: French Judge Appointed To Investigate Deal
The National Financial Prosecutors' Office on June 2, stated that a French judge has been appointed to investigate the 2016 7.8 billion Euro Rafale fighter jet sale between India and Dassault Aviation. Mediapart, a French investigative website had previously accused the PNF and French Anti-corruption agency of "burying" the deal's corruption suspicions. Following this, France's Sherpa NGO officially filed a "corruption" and "influence peddling" complaint.
