Saif Ali Khan Starrer 'Tandav' Trailer Out; Releases On January 15

The trailer of Amazon Prime's latest web series 'Tandav' was unveiled on January 4. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the political drama features Saif Ali Khan and Dimple Kapadia in lead roles. Besides, the series features Zeeshan Ayyub, Sunil Grover and Gauhar Khan among others. The trailer showcases how people from diverse backgrounds interact in their struggle to take the Prime Minister's throne. The series will premiere from January 15.

The Family Man Season 2 Set To Be Released On February 12

Streaming giant Amazon Prime Video on December 28 shared the first look of its web series 'The Family Man 2', which is set to be released on February 12. Lead actor Manoj Bajpai also shared the teaser picture on Instagram captioning it, "The wait is over. This is our New Year's gift for you. Open it carefully." The series will progress with the returning cast including Sharad Kelkar, Priyamani and Shreya Dhanwanthary.

Amazon Releases Teaser Of 'Sons Of The Soil: Jaipur Pink Panthers'

Amazon Prime Video on November 20 launched the teaser of the upcoming sports docu-drama 'Sons of the Soil: Jaipur Pink Panthers'. The show explores the journey of the Abhishek Bachchan-owned team in the Pro Kabaddi League and their road to victory in the PKL-7. While sharing the teaser, Amazon wrote, "We are turning the town pink coz Panthers are on the way". The show will start streaming from December 4.

Amazon Prime Video India Set to Stream Live cricket from New Zealand

Premium OTT platform Amazon Prime Video announced that it will stream cricket matches of New Zealand in India from late 2021. Reportedly, the rights are procured to stream cricket matches of men and women till the 2025-2026 season. Prime Video India's Head Gaurav Gandhi said, “We are excited to add India’s most loved game- cricket to our content selection for our Prime Video customers."

Mirzapur 2: Makers Apologise For Wrong Depiction Of Book 'Dhabba'

After facing accusations from Hindi author Surender Mohan Pathak over the wrong depiction of his book in 'Mirzapur 2', the web-series' creator released an apology statement. Amazon India on October 26 unveiled the trailer of upcoming Tamil film 'Soorarai Pottru'. The film features Superstar Suriya and narrates the real-life story of captain Gopinath of budget airline Air Deccan who fulfilled the dream of people to fly at the cost of Rs 1. Directed by Sudha Kongara, the film will stream from November 12 on Amazon Prime Video in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

Amazon To Premiere 9 Movies Including Three Bollywood Films

Amazon Prime Video on October 9 informed that nine new movies from across five languages are set to premiere on the platform. Reportedly, the nine movies include three Bollywood films: Rajkummar Rao's 'Chhalaang' will be out on November 13; Bhumi Pednekar's 'Durgavati' is scheduled for December 11; and Varun Dhawan starrer 'Coolie No. 1' will release on December 25. The other movies include Halal Love Story (Malayalam) and Maara (Tamil).

Amazon Prime Video, on October 2, released the teaser of its much-awaited series Mirzapur 2. The teaser shows Guddu Bhaiya, played by Ali Fazal, planning to avenge the deaths of his brother Bablu (Vikrant Massey) and wife Sweety (Shriya Pilgaonkar).
