Bengaluru: BBMP Launches App To Help Waste Management
Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike said the residents of Bengaluru can now use a mobile app to track the auto-tippers, which collect waste from houses. The app will help people to estimate the time of arrival of these vehicles and also lodge a complaint if they do not arrive. BBMP Commissioner said that many projects, including setting up a waste-to-energy plant and compost units, have been taken up for waste management.

IIT Bombay UG Students Launch AI-Based Document Scanning Application
Rohit Kumar Chaudhary and Kavin Agrawal, final-year students from the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Bombay, developed an Artificial Intelligence (AI) mobile application called "AIR Scanner".
