Congress Leader Questions Modi Govt About Rising Prices Amid Diwali
Hitting out at the Centre, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on November 3, said the BJP government must answer as to how will one celebrate Diwali when prices of food items are "skyrocketing" just a week before the festival. The Congress general secretary raised concern over prices of onions, sugar and pulses. She questioned Modi Government asking, "Diwali is a week away, but the prices of food items are rising."

Srinagar's Masjid Witness No Prayer On Third Friday Amid Israel-Hamas War
Srinagar's Jamia Masjid is yet to allow Friday prayers. The historic mosque barred namaz for the third consecutive Friday on October 27 as fear of protests and subsequent violence over Israel's military action in Gaza persisted. This is third Friday in a row, when nobody offered prayer at Masjid. Security personnel maintained a vigil in the Nowhatta area of Srinagar even as the mosque doors remained locked.

Garba Night Turns Tragic; Man Dies After Scuffle With Youths Over Harassment Allegations
A vibrant Dandiya Night celebration at BPTP Princess Park Society in Greater Faridabad, Haryana, turnd tragic. Notably, during the celebrations, a young girl alleged three youths one identified as Lucky of harassment, leading to a fight between the girl's father Prem Mehta (52)and youths. The Hindu calendar welcomes Mahalaya on October 14 which marks the completion of Pitru Paksha and the onset of Devi Paksha. President Murmu Visits Katra Vaishno Devi, Will Inaugurate Skywalk
President of India Droupadi Murmu visited Jammu and Kashmir's Katra, and offered prayer at Vaishno Devi Temple. According to sources, Murmu arrived at the Katra temple on October 12, and was accompanied by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. Later, after the holy darshan, Murmu inagurated the remodelled skywalk.
