Asian Games 2023: Neeraj Chopra Bags Gold, Kishore Jena Wins Silver
India's star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra defended his Asian Games gold medal with a best throw of 88.88m in the final at Hangzhou. Neeraj Chopra beat his compatriot Kishore Jena for the top honour. Kishore Jena overtook Neeraj Chopra at one stage in the final with his personal best throw of 86.77m but he ended with a silver medal as Neeraj registered his best throw after, claiming on top.

Govt Raised Subsidy Amount For Pradhan Mantri Ujjwal To ₹300
The government has raised subsidy amount for Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana beneficiaries from ₹200 to ₹300 per LPG cylinder, Union minister Anurag Thakur confirmed during a briefing on Cabinet decisions on Wednesday. Ujjwala beneficiaries currently pay ₹703 per 14.2-kg cylinder as against the market price of ₹903. After the decision of the Union Cabinet, they will now pay ₹603, aiming expansion of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY)

AAP MP Sanjay Singh Arrested By ED In Delhi Liquor Policy Scam
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh in connection with the Delhi Excise Policy scam. The arrest came hours after the raid at Singh's residence in New Delhi, on October 4. Furthermore, the morning raid was carried out as per alleged involvement of Sanjay Singh in the 2020-2021 Liquor police scam, inviting illicit money transactions. Meanwhile, AAP leaders are staging dharna, against Singh's arrest.

ED Issues Summon To Ranbir Kapoor In Betting App Case
Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has been named an accused in the betting case of mobile app game. In this regard, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) issued a summon to Kapoor. As per social media reports, the actor allegedly carried out some promotional activifies for the Mahadev betting app. Asked to appear before the ED on October 6, the officials would ask role of Ranbir, payment method and app promotion details.

The interior minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari, who is part of the viral Iraq Wedding fire incident said, the killing of the owner of the hall and three other staff members had allowed 900 people into the venue when it was designed for a maximum of 400. Mika Singh Threatened By Conman Sukesh For Jibe At Jaqueline
