India Minister Invites University Of New South Wales To Expand In India

Visiting the University of New South Wales, Union Minister Piyush Goyal invited the university to expand in India and enhance the education partnership between the two countries. He said, "Partnership between two countries can truly transform the lives of Australia and India". Furthermore, Australian Minister Dan Tehan also supported the need for an agreement and said, "I want to see Australian students flocking to India to get educated".

PM Modi Reviews Stolen Indian Artefacts; 29 Retrieved From Australia

Ahead of a virtual meet with Australian PM Morrison, PM Modi reviewed 29 artefacts, which were retrieved. Reportedly, the process to repatriate the stolen artefacts started "the moment" authorities were made aware that they were purchased by Australia. According to an official, the process took them a year. Around 241 artefacts have been recovered since 1972. Of which, 228 were brought back from UK, US and Australia.

Legendary Australian spinner Shane Warne died on March 4 in a resort in Thailand due to a heart attack. A private close-knit funeral was arranged in Melbourne with only friends, family and international cricket and former teammates. It took place at St Kilda Football Club, an Australian Rules team that Warne himself supported. Warne's body was brought back to Melbourne in a private jet last week.
