Baghdad meet

To negate tensions between the middle eastern countries and the Gulf nations, Iraq on August 28 hosted a regional conference taking up the role of new mediator. Rival nations Iran and Saudi Arabia were also present including Yemen and Lebanon. Saudi Arabia sent its foreign minister Prince Faisal bin Farhad. France President Emmanuel Macron was also present as France co-organizes the meet to discuss the regional water crisis.
