Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit has cleared the "one MLA, one pension" scheme, informed CM Bhagwant Mann, on August 13. The update has come three months after the bill was passed in the state cabinet. Punjab CM Mann took to Twitter, and expressed his joy. "This will save a lot of tax," he said. With this scheme, pensions to MLAs will not be paid based on number of terms.

The Punjab Government announced Rs 40 Lakhs for weightlifter Harjinder Kaur, on August 2. CM Bhagwant Maan announced the money for the victory of Kaur at the Commonwealth Games 2022, after she won a bronze medal, at Birmingham, England. Furthermore, CM Maan stated that the government is committed to encouraging those who excel in sports and that these athletes will be given cash prizes for their efforts.

Punjab's Advocate General Anmol Ratan Sidhu has resigned from his office on July 26, for personal reasons. He said that he has submitted his resignation to Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann on July 19. A polluted dump yard in an industrial site in Punjab's Amritsar, has been transformed into a mini forest by the administration. According to officials, the place has given a recast with a variety of plantations. Furthermore, a wide variety of trees have been planted in the three-acre land. Reportedly, 65 different varieties of trees have been planted in a span of three months.

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann conducted his first Cabinet expansion and inducted five AAP MLAs on July 4. The Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit administered the oath of office and secrecy to the MLAs at Guru Nanak Dev Auditorium of Punjab Raj Bhawan. MLAs inducted are Aman Arora, Dr Inderbir Singh Najjar, Fauja Singh Sarari, Chetan Singh Jourmajra, and Anmol Gagan Mann, who is the second woman in the Cabinet.
