Amul Releases Topical Featuring Rajinikanth With Dadasaheb Phalke Award
Amul has created a new cartoon in honor of the legendary actor Rajinikanth for winning the country's highest award in the world of cinema, the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Amul caption the cartoon, ''Another crown in Rajinikanth's Darbar!'' The cartoon portrays the actor in a white kurta-pyajama with a khakhi shawl. Notably, Rajinikanth won the award at the 67th National Film Awards in New Delhi on October 25.

Maharashtra: Shiv Sena Members Attack Retired Navy Officer Over CM's Cartoon
A group of masked Shiv Sena activists on September 11 attacked a retired Navy officer, Madan Sharma(65), for sharing a satirical cartoon on Maharashtra CM. Sharma suffered wounds in his eyes and face. "I’d just forwarded the cartoon to society’s WhatsApp group, later was attacked in front of building after receiving a call from Kamlesh Kadam," Sharma's FIR read. Later, police arrested 6 people including Sena shakha leader Kamlesh Kadam.

Australian Newspaper Cartoon Describes Kamala Harris As “Little Brown Girl”, Faces Heat
A cartoon in ‘The Australian’ newspaper has drawn criticism for showing US presidential candidate, Joe Biden describe Senator Kamala Harris as “little brown girl”. Biden named Harris as the Vice Presidential candidate on August 12. The cartoon by Johannes Leak faced heat on Twitter for being offensive and racist. But the editor-in-chief, Christopher Dore stood by the cartoon saying they were Biden’s words and not the cartoonist’s.
