Indian wrestlers Pooja Gehlot, Vinesh Phogat, Anshu Malik, Sakshi Malik, Divya Kakran, and Pooja Dhanda have been chosen to represent India in the Commonwealth Games 2022. On May 16, the senior women's wrestling team for the Commonwealth Games in 2022 was held at STC in Lucknow. Mirabai Chanu Wins Gold At Singapore Weightlifting International
Olympic medalist Mirabai Chanu has been qualified for the Commonwealth Games 2022 in the 55kg weight category by clinching the gold at the Singapore Weightlifting International, on February 25. In addition, competing in the 55kg weight class for the first time, Chanu lifted 191kg (86kg+105kg) to stand on top of the podium. Notably, Singapore Weightlifting International is a qualifying event for the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
