BJP MLA In UP Booked For Violating Model Code Of Conduct & COVID-19 SOPs
BJP candidate from Asmoli assembly seat in Uttar Pardesh has been booked for violation of model code of conduct and Covid-19 guidelines, on January 21. The BJP candidate and MLA of Asmoli assembly constituency Harendra Singh Rinku was holding an election meeting, which was attended by a large number of people, without masks and social distancing. Police took note and registered a case against the said MLA, and other persons.

SP Leader Abhishek Mishra & Others Booked For Violating COVID-19 Norms: UP
The UP Police registered a case against Samajwadi Party National Secretary Abhishek Mishra and dozen others. Reportedly, the Hasanganj police filed a case for violating COVID-19 norms and taking out bike rallies without permission, under the IPC and Epidemic Act. The case has been registered based on a viral social media video, in which Abhishek Mishra, Razi Hasan, Raghvendra Bajpai and others were seen violating COVID-19 rules.

Gujarat Police Collect Over Rs 93 Crore From COVID Violators
Gujarat has collected Rs 93.56 crore as penalty from 21.40 lakh persons, till December 5, for violating the COVID-19 rules, stated the official data. The violations included not wearing masks and spitting in public places. “Till now we have filed 60,400 cases under Indian Penal Code section 188 for disobedience to order given by public servant," added the official statement.
