Chandani Chowk Bridge, an old bridge on National Highway 4 (Pune-Bangalore Highway), has been demolished using controlled impulsion to help with the city’s traffic woes. The demolition project was started on September 13, and was initially scheduled to be finished within a week. The project got delayed due to bad weather. Several arrangements have been made to alternate the vehicular movement until the debris is successfully removed.

The Maharashtra State Board declared the awaited Maharashtra Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) 2022 results, on June 8. Supreme Court's Justice Abhay S Oka demanded a separate law university in Maharashtra. On April 14, Oka addressed a conference organised by the Bar Council of Maharashtra, Goa and Thane District Courts Bar Association, and emphasized the need for Maharashtra Law university.
