Multi-state Drug Cartel Busted in Mumbai; Drugs Worth Rs 47 Crore Seized

Seizing drugs worth Rs 47 crore, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) on August 17 busted a multi-state drug cartel in Mumbai. During the raid, the DRI seized 250kg of mephedrone (MD), ephedrine and ketamine drugs. Sources informed that foreign currencies worth Rs 45 lakh were also seized. Reportedly, the drugs were manufactured in Hyderabad and supplied to Mumbai.
