Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma fame TV Actor Bhavya Gandhi popularly ‘Tapu’ lost his father Vinod Gandhi of COVID-19 complications on May 11. He was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben hospital for 15 days before his death. Later, Bhavya’s family also opened up about the struggles of getting him a hospital bed. Bhavya’s mother said somehow managing ICU bed, she paid over two times the cost of life saving medicines.

Odisha: Son Allegedly Attempts To Kill His Father For Money
A 22-year-old boy in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha allegedly tried to kill his father by slitting throat on October 9 after an argument broke out between them over the former's spending habits. Andhra Pradesh: Man Allegedly Sells 3-Day Old Baby, Wife Files Complaint
A one-year old baby was returned back to her mother after she was allegedly sold by her father to a relative in just three days after her birth in Valasapalli village of Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh. Rajani, the mother, filed a complaint against her husband, Naveen Babu. However, the foster parents stated that they did not buy the baby for cash, and that adopted her. Further investigation on the matter is underway.

Hyderabad: Tired of Abusive Father, Minor Girls Strangle Him to Death
On the night of August 9, two minor girls aged 16 and 17, strangled their alcoholic father to death, unable to take his physical and mental abuse anymore. According to Hyderabad inspector A Ganga Reddy, the accused identified as, M Raju (45), had been consuming alcohol everyday and abusing his daughters, since his wife's death eight months ago. A case of murder has been registered against the two minors.
