Indian Grandmaster Praggnanandhaa Promises Gold To India
Buoyed by his World Cup silver medal, GM R Praggnanandhaa is confident of Indian team's chances of winning gold at the upcoming Asian Games in Hangzhou. Recently, on September 1, India's new chess sensation Praggnanandhaa was felicitated by Sports Minister Anurag Thakur at his residence. After felicitation, he said feels India has a "good chance" of winning gold at the Asian Games. Praggnanandhaa is a part of 10-member Indian team.

China Releases Official Standard Map 2023 Edition, Includes Dispute Arunachal Pradesh
China officially released the 2023 edition of its "standard map" incorporating the disputed areas including its claims over Arunachal Pradesh, Aksai Chin region, Taiwan and the disputed South China Sea. India has repeatedly said that the state of Arunachal Pradesh has "always been" and will "always be" an integral part of the country. Released on August 28, the standard map is said to be compiled of all boundaries china share.

2023 FIDE Chess World Cup: R Praggnanandhaa V/S Carlsen, Both Loses Queen
R Praggnanandhaa is still ahead on time against Magnus Carlsen in the first tie-breaker of the FIDE Chess World Cup 2023 final. But both players have lost their queens, The winner of the contest will take home $1,10,000 while the runner-up will take home $80,000. The tie-breaker has been divided into three stages, with the first two rapid games fetching each player 25 minutes, with a 10-second increment per move.

Jaipur Police Detained 16 Year Old Pakistani For Flying Without Documents
Pakistani girl Ghazal Parveen (16) arrived in India three years ago with her aunt. Both of them have been staying in Sikar’s Shrimadhopur since then. However, now on July 28, she was arrested at Jaipur airport, for flying without valid visa and documents. The police detained her and launched an investigation. In addition, her aunt and those two men who helped her to get tickets, were also detained for interrogation.

'Dead To Us' Says Anju's Parents After Cross Border Love Story

Indians Can Travel To 57 Global Destinations Visa Free

The latest ranking published by Henley Passport Index confirmed the position of India ranking in progress at the 80th spot. In a cyber fraud, a 35-year-old fashion designer seeking an appointment for her tailor in a hospital lost Rs 1 lakh. The crime unfolded after she filled in details of a link that a fraudulent sent her after getting the cyber crook’s number on the internet. The amount was lost in 20 transactions within 19 minutes. Besides victim, a friend of the victim friend was also duped.
